DARCARS Automotive Group is now hiring a Receptionist Manager!


As a Receptionist Manager you are the front-line representative for the dealership and must represent the dealership in a professional, friendly manner always. This role is crucial in creating a positive first impression and ensuring smooth communication between receptionist and dealership staff.
Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a daily schedule to sit and work with each receptionist for all PG Locations. (TH Kia, Honda Bowie, Lanham Ford/Kia, New Carrollton and Marlow Heights Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram)
  • Stay in communication with receptionists via text, email and phone.
  • Check and respond to emails in a promptly manner.
  • Make sure all shifts are covered; provide coverage if needed. (lunch breaks, vacation, calls outs, etc.)
  • Communicate with recruiting when there is a job opening becomes available
  • Interview and train new employees.
  • Create a monthly receptionist schedule.
  • Making sure gas logs are correct and sent to the accountant daily.
  • Keep track of the gas card.
  • Order supplies and business cards.
  • Make sure office and paper supplies are stocked
  • Make sure the desk area stays in a clean and tidy condition
  • Help management when needed.



Job Qualifications:
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Strong communication skills with both customers and DARCARS employees.
  • Requires the ability to sit for long periods of time.
  • Be a team player.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, evenings and weekends.

Additional Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Must be able to speak clearly and pleasantly on the telephone and convey the image of professionalism and competence to callers and in-person customers
  • Strong communication skills with both customers and DARCARS employees
  • Ability to speak multiple languages (Spanish and Chinese) is a plus!
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service
  • Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers
  • Previous customer service experience preferred but not required
  • Requires the ability to sit for long periods of time
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Be a team player
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screen (background)
