Commercial Vehicle Administrator

Reporting to the Director of Commercial and Corporate Vehicle Sales and the Director of Market Strategies, the Commercial Vehicle Administrator (“CVA”) role provides full administrative support to a busy commercial vehicle sales team by processing all sales related documentation and all commercial vehicle leads to support the day-to-day success of the department.  The CVA will also be the liaison for various sales teams and customers, when necessary, to ensure smooth transactions.  Additionally, the CVA will produce reports and analysis of the new vehicle inventory for all DARCARS dealerships.   

Primary Accountabilities

Administrative Functions:

  • Monitor and ensure FCA Business Link (“BLINK”), FORD Commercial and Nissan Commercial compliance for dealership personnel.
  • Review and communicate to appropriate dealerships and direct supervisors daily updates of digital leads from the various manufacturer’s commercial truck websites
  • Transfer company information from Ford commercial dashboard to E-lead 
  • Transfer company information from BLINK dashboard to E-lead 
  • Transfer company information from Nissan dashboard to E-lead 
  • Assist with email and phone call follow up to commercial truck prospects daily
  • Assist RTCM (Retail Trade Cycle Management) of vehicles previously sold to companies
  • Produce bi-monthly inventory reports for new vehicle inventory
  • Perform analysis of dealerships’ inventory versus fast moving vehicles in the dealership’s area
  • Assist in coordinating communication with GM’s concerning inventory and vehicle ordering

Brand Awareness:

  • Assist Association memberships and partnerships for the commercial vehicle market
  • Help bring an awareness to local associations (FCA – FORD) of DARCARS presence in the marketplace
  • Develop a workflow for DARCARS Commercial presence with associations and trade shows
  • Assist with online pricing and commercial advertising
  • Attend meetings at association events (i.e. Chambers of Commerce)
